Tell us what drives you? What is your true passion in life?

My passion in music drives me always, coming up with creative ideas to improve or make something new.

How did you find your passion and how old were you?

At my primary level in Wechaiu district capital of Wa West , Northwest of Ghana, I was part of the school drama group which we used to play for inter-school drama competitions back in the early 90s. It started there which was like 9 to 10 years old… I guess and the journey started there……..

What about your passion appeals to you the most? 

I feel like I’m spending my time working on helping people with something that’s important, and that motivates me to do great work.

What drove you to make money from your passions?

I charge when I am called to perform for a concert, and that’s where I make my money from, and sales of my music on digital stores.

When was the first time you were paid for your passion?

2002…. hahahaha was paid 2000 old ghana cedis at a singing competition I won second at Wechaiu.

What kept you going when you thought about giving up?

I never thought of giving up my dream and passion which is music,have a lot of fun across africa and up northern Ghana and they love my music,so they keep me moving with their support.

What motivates you every day to be even more successful?

My fans and where I come from and mentoring and coaching other young artists from my region Upper West, Northwest Ghana.

What do you have to say to all of the people who doubted you?

They should watch out for the new me and am coming to explore with my new album WELCOME TO UPPER WEST, and they are part of my success in my career because they make me work hard. I don’t want them to laugh at me.

What advice do you give to aspiring creatives who look up to you?

.They should respect their senior comrades in the game and keep working hard, Jah time is always the best. And they should stay out of drugs also.
